Spanish Speaking Operations, Cost and Stocks Accounting Analyst

Our client is a Business Service Centre (BSC) in Budapest which provides Finance, Customer Service and Procurement services.

Job description

• Support the Operations & Cost Accounting process for Lubricants business within Spain and Portugal
• Provide timely and accurate detailed tactical Management Information to support the decision making process in the business and Finance CFO teams.
• Support the delivery of timely and accurate unit cost margin and inventory reports, analysis and reconciliations
• Perform Period End close activities for Supply Chain Lubricants within Spain & Portugal
• Perform product costing activities for Spain and Portugal: Establish cost baseline, calculate product cost and transfer price.
• Set up new products Finance Views (accounting and costing)
• Rebrand and downgrade products as required. Manage corrections
• Produce, analyze and distribute Monthly Transfer Price lists
• Support production of mass balance report to ensure all purchase, gains & losses, sales are correctly booked and according to system valuation
• Ensure timely and accurate valuation of stocks
• Investigate and resolve stock gains and losses
• Reconcile physical and accounting inventories
• Run Period end close processes for Lubricants cost of product for each country (Spain & Portugal) run stock in transit and amend errors if required. Run standard cost estimate. Cycles assessment. Log provisions entries and update bill of materials
• Run & verify the month end stock accounting processes, ensuring all movements correctly priced & accounted for and all adjustments made
• Produce actual costs and allocations reports
• Review Cost recovery reports and propose adjustments
• Support the analysis financial results of product cost, storage and handling activities

Job requirements

• Fluent English and Spanish language skills (Portuguese is an advantage)
• Good level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awareness
• Readiness for action and ability to work under pressure,
• Self confident appearance in relations to the internal and outside world
• Strong communication and cooperation skills
• Fully qualified accountant
• SAP Stocks & Movements
