ProfiPower and Randstad are joining forces

Budapest based ProfiPower and the multinational Randstad join forces and thus will create the largest recruitment firm in Hungary. After the merge, which will take effect on the 11th of October 2010, the new company will operate with a broad portfolio covering the full range of the Hungarian labor market. The general manager of the new company, which will offer its services under the Randstad brand name from 2011, will be the former owner and managing director of ProfiPower, Ilona Jankovich.


Budapest based recruitment firm ProfiPower and Randstad have decided to join forces and thus will create the largest recruitment firm in Hungary. All shares of ProfiPower have been fully acquired by Randstad.

The merger of the number 1 and 5 (according to 2009. annual net revenue from permanent recruitment)of the 2010 BBJ (Budapest Business Journal) list will result in a strong market leader with a broad portfolio ranging from staffing, search and selection, HR solutions and executive search. With this portfolio the new recruitment firm will be able to service the full range of labor market.

This new combination will offer its services under the Randstad brand name from 2011 recognizing the better brand awareness in Hungary.
Both companies started operations in Hungary in 2004 and are a major HR partner of both multinational and local companies since. General manager of the two merged companies will be Ilona Jankovich, who is the former owner and managing director of ProfiPower.
The merger will take effect on 11th of October 2010.

Ilona Jankovich added:”We see significant recovery on the Hungarian labor market. The number of vacancies increased in many sectors. Business is asking for different HR solutions. As a result of the merge, we are able to adapt to the changing market environment and clients’ demands with our broadened service portfolio.”
